ARGENTINA AND THE UK AGREED TO STRENGTHEN THEIR TRADE RELATIONS
Today at the Palacio San Martín, the Argentine Foreign Minister, Jorge Faurie, received the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Rt Hon Philip Hammond, who arrived in the country this morning with an outstanding delegation of businesspeople. This is the first visit by a member of the British Cabinet since 2002. Prior to his meeting with Faurie, Hammond was received at the official residence in Olivos by President Mauricio Macri.

ARGENTINA delivers HISTORICAL documents to US Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM)
In an event headed by the Secretary for International Coordination and Cooperation, Ernesto Gaspari, a total of 38,779 documents organized into 437 folders, stored in 34 boxes (No. 44AH0095 to No. 44AH00129) and kept in the National Archives were delivered to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM). The documents delivered are mainly letters, telegrams, newspaper articles, notes and reports.

Mercosur Summit in Mendoza
Today, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Mendoza, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie opened the 50th Ordinary Meeting of the Common Market Council, during the session of the Member States and Bolivia. "I believe that Mercosur has been supported by all of you during the months of the Argentine Presidency. We have managed to agree on goals and important actions, which are those on which we will work today," stated Faurie.

Faurie held a courtesy meeting with president Temer at the Brasilia air base
Before the working meeting with his Brazilian counterpart, Foreign Minister Faurie held a courtesy meeting with President Temer at the Brasilia air base. The meeting was also attended by the Brazilian Foreign Minister, Aloysio Nunes, the Argentine Secretary for International Economic Relations, Horacio Reyser, the Brazilian Ambassador to Argentina, Sérgio França Danese, and the Argentine Ambassador to Brazil, Carlos Magariños. At the meeting, both sides agreed to set forth a meeting agenda to continue negotiations with the EU after the upcoming Summit of Heads of State to be held in the city of Mendoza, at which Argentina will hand over the Presidency Pro Tempore of Mercosur to Brazil.
